About Wendy Schembri

Wendy brings with her over 15 years of counselling experience in Geelong and Melbourne. Before becoming a therapist, she worked with diverse people across all walks of life in overcoming adversity and becoming empowered to navigate life's challenges. Wendy has also worked as an educator, teaching diplomas in counselling and mental health. 

Wendy believes that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. She is passionate about helping people unlock their potential and achieve their goals.

Qualifications include;

• Masters of Social Science (family therapy)
• Bachelor of Psychological Science
• Graduate Diploma of Psychology 
• Diploma of Community Services
• Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs

These qualifications, along with a long history of working with people with complex needs in the health and community services sectors, gives Wendy a broad platform of empathy and understanding that she brings into her counselling. 

Wendy is a clinical family therapist registered with the Australian Association of Family Therapists.
